Savannah & Leighton Portrait shoot

I took my portable studio to the home of Savannah & Leighton to get a few portrait shots of the two of them, Leighton started to feel unwell soon after I arrived which turned out to be Tonsillitis, so considering that he did really well.
I shot against my Grey seamless backdrop and then added some effects later in Photoshop cc.
If you would like a shoot the cost is £55 for an hours shoot to include a 10 x 8inch print, further prints can be bought at:
£40 for 10 x 8 inch
£35 for 8 x 6 inch
£30 for 7x 6 inch prints, special effects on the images are charged at £20 per image.

Two Awards in February

I received two awards in the February monthly image competition with the SWPP, the first was a Gold for my image of Parkhouse Hill at sunrise in the Landscape section and the second was a Highly Commended for my Christmas Composite in the Digital Art section, really pleased with the Landscape as I've only been shooting them seriously for the last few months and managed to get a highly Commended in January for my image of Chrome and Parkhouse Hills taken just after a small fall of snow back in the beginning of January.

Croxton Abbey

A few images from a trip to Croxden Abbey, some HDR some RAW conversions, freezing cold but some interesting skys! I shall be revisiting in the summer when the trees are in full bloom.

Chrome & Parkhouse Hills at Sunrise

Early start yesterday morning, I drove to Hollinsclough, parked and made my way in the dark to Chrome hill, not a clue which way I was going, I just tried to remember from Google earth that I looked at the night before, as it started to get light I could see Chrome hill on my left, I crossed a couple of fields and made my way to the top and waited for the sun to rise, the clouds came in and the sunrise wasn't quite what I wanted, anyway I got a few shots and then made my way back down and along a track back to the car taking some more shots as on the way. I'll be back again to try some more sunrises I'm sure!
